I recently purchased a De Dietrich induction hob to swap out the one I got from Long Eaton Appliances nearly a decade ago. The whole buying experience was pretty tricky since I was ordering from Australia. Eventually, we managed to get the payment sorted out. But then the real hassle began when the hob arrived... shattered into a thousand pieces. The box it came in was just flimsy cardboard, and the packing was only about 15mm of polystyrene. There was a single vague fragile warning on the box, but no prominent FRAGILE stickers indicating there were glass parts inside. The company didn’t take any responsibility for the damage, instead pointing fingers at the delivery service. You’d think a delicate glass cooktop would be packed better to avoid breakage... unlike the replacement I had to buy from another company!!!

I had a good experience with them years back, but recently I reached out for some advice and pricing on a new washing machine. They did respond, but I never got a quote or any suggestions. I ended up choosing a different local competitor, which is a bummer. I won't be coming back to them.

After recently putting together a new kitchen, I’ve been sourcing various items from different suppliers, and I just had to share my experience with Long Eaton. From the get-go, ordering from them was a breeze. Sure, the order took about 5 months because of global supply hiccups, but honestly, that was no biggie since the kitchen project was dragging on anyway. When the items finally showed up, the delivery crew was fantastic—everything arrived right on time, and they kept me in the loop the whole way.

We did run into a couple of snags—one was my fault, and the other was a faulty appliance—but the Long Eaton team really stepped up to help sort things out. It’s such a relief these days to just pick up the phone and chat with someone who actually takes care of your problem without any fuss. Huge thanks to the entire crew at Long Eaton; I’d wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone!

I don’t typically write reviews, but I had such a great experience with Longeaton Appliances that I felt compelled to share it 😁. Michael in sales was super helpful, really friendly, and knew his stuff. Miele had warned me against using outside distributors, but they couldn’t match the price Longeaton offered, and their delivery was way later than what Longeaton promised. My appliances showed up right on schedule, and I can’t wait for them to be delivered next week. It’s been a really positive experience, which is rare these days, and I’m more than happy to recommend them to my family and friends.

I recently got a Dishwasher from this place. Super simple process, great price, and a nice experience overall. They called us up and provided various delivery options. The item showed up right on time, just like they promised, and it was just as described. Big thanks to them :-) I’ll surely consider them for any future appliance needs.

I give this company five stars. From the moment I asked about a Stoves electric induction range cooker to the delivery, it was a total pleasure. It's rare to experience such attentive service. Each person I interacted with at Long Eaton Appliances was professional and really knew their stuff. The ordering process was straightforward. Delivery was quick and on time, even during Storm Eunice, and I wholeheartedly recommend this company. Big thanks to everyone involved.

Had a fantastic experience from the moment I stepped into the store to when my order was delivered. The staff really went the extra mile, and I was updated at every point along the way. They gave me the best deal around! I haven’t unboxed the oven yet since I’m waiting for the installer. Big thanks to all the folks at the shop and the delivery crew. Most folks I interacted with were friendly, especially the delivery crew and the electricians. But then the cooker arrived, and they took the old one away. An hour later, the electrician showed up and said there was a problem—the cooker wouldn’t work. I was told to reach out to Belling, but honestly, I thought the seller should handle it. Belling couldn’t come for a week because Long Eaton Appliances didn’t have a priority arrangement with them (that’s what Belling said). To make matters worse, Belling didn’t show up when they were supposed to because their van broke down, and it would take another week for them to reschedule! At that point, I decided to cut my losses, requested the cooker be picked up, and asked for a refund, which took almost another week. Meanwhile, I ended up ordering the same cooker from Currys, which was £50 less and got delivered and installed in just two days. I really want to back local businesses, but what a mess—never even got an apology.

Fantastic business. The staff are super friendly and really helpful. They’ve got a solid range of products and their prices are tough to beat. We turned to them again for our latest renovation after using them for our kitchen makeover over a decade ago. We wouldn’t think of shopping anywhere else. The sales team is courteous, kind, and always ready to assist, and the delivery and installation crew are just the best. It’s always a joy to work with them.

We reached out to Longeatonappliances because we were struggling to locate the ovens we needed. The representative who answered was one of the most accommodating folks I've chatted with in ages. At first, we felt let down when he mentioned that the ovens weren’t in stock. But then he discovered an alternative appliance for us and called back with the fantastic news, which included a savings of over £200! We also needed a second oven/microwave, which got us an extra discount. Sadly, that one had to be ordered too, and we were told it would take 6 weeks for delivery, but it showed up in just 3! If only I could recall the name of the guy who assisted us so we could express our gratitude directly. After this experience, I’d hesitate to place an order online since I found a personal phone call to be both more useful and cost-effective! Next time we shop, you’ll be our go-to, great job Longeatonappliances.

Outstanding customer support! I purchased a big fridge freezer, and the help I got in-store and over the phone was fantastic.....and I truly can't say enough good things about their delivery team. They called me the day before to confirm the delivery time, then rang again on the actual day to say they were running ahead of schedule. When they showed up, the job was way tougher than expected, but after an hour, they managed to get the appliance into the kitchen, all while staying cheerful and courteous!!
